This covers Edge only. On Windows 11, the system setting covers every app.

1. Open Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Security (or go to edge://settings/privacy).

2. Turn on Use secure DNS to specify how to look up the network address for websites.

3. Choose Choose a service provider and enter:

   https://dns.opdns.net/<profile-id>/<device>

4. Check it works.

DNS-over-HTTPS: profile and device from the URL path

The first path segment is the profile id, the optional second one the device name: https://dns.opdns.net/<profile-id>/<device>. Every query carries both, so logs and analytics show this device by name wherever it connects from.
