Brave

Brave uses Chrome’s setting, under its own menus.

1. Open Settings → Privacy and security → Security (or brave://settings/security).

2. Turn on Use secure DNS, choose Custom, and enter:

   https://dns.opdns.net/<profile-id>/<device>

3. Check it works.

Brave’s own ad blocking (Shields) runs in the browser and is independent of opdns; both can be on.

DNS-over-HTTPS: profile and device from the URL path

The first path segment is the profile id, the optional second one the device name: https://dns.opdns.net/<profile-id>/<device>. Every query carries both, so logs and analytics show this device by name wherever it connects from.
