Privacy blocklists
The Privacy page lists the blocklist catalogue: every list opdns compiles, with its category, source, licence, number of entries and last update. Search it, and turn lists on for this profile. Lists are compiled into one signed artifact that every PoP and self-hosted node loads, so a list you enable applies everywhere at once.
Blocklists are the last step of the policy order: your allowlist overrides them.
Some lists have licences that are not yet cleared for redistribution. The
cloud uses them, but the public artifact sent to self-hosted nodes does not
carry them: a node treats such a list as unavailable and filters without
it. The catalogue
is also public: GET /v1/lists,
which also gives, for every list, the profile setting it backs, the
credit its sources require, and each source it is built from, with its
URL, licence, number of entries and when it last changed.
Native tracker lists per vendor (Apple, Samsung, Windows and others), affiliate-link exceptions and custom list import are planned.
Categories of sites (adult content, gambling, social networks…) and individual services (TikTok, Roblox…) are on Parental control.
